VENTILATION: When installing this unit, make sure to leave
space around the unit for ventilation to improve heat radiation
(at least 5 cm at rear, and 3 cm at each side).
WARNING: Slot and openings in the cabinet are provided for
ventilation and to ensure reliable operation of the product and
to protect it from overheating, to prevent fire hazard, the openings
should never be blocked and covered with items, such as
newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc. Also do not put the
apparatus on the thick carpet, bed, sofa, or fabric having a thick
pile.

FEATURES
Effect Mixing
Changing between three kinds of effect mix (ECHO, ZIP,
ROLL) can be performed easily merely by operating the
Cross fader lever, or by pressing the Effect select/start
switch.
BPM Counter
The auto BPM counter provided makes music tempo visible
to the eye.
Peak Level Meter
The peak level meter provided is equipped with 11-bit LED
indicators for all channels.
Fader Start/Stop
The CD player can be started or stopped simply by increasing
or decreasing the level of the cross fader or channel fader.
(This function can only be used when the Pioneer CD player
series CMX-3000, CMX-5000, CDJ-1000, CDJ-100S, CDJ-
500S or CDJ-500 II is connected.)
3-Band Equalizer and Kill
This 3-band equalizer corresponds to the HI, MID, and LOW
channels. The attenuation level also serves as a kill function,
which can decrease the level to 26 dB.
Variety of Effects
Both internal and external effects can be applied to all
channels, the microphone, and master.
A variety of effects can be enjoyed, including delay, echo,
auto pan, auto trans, filter, flanger, reverb and pitch shifter.
Full range of input and output functions
This DJ Mixer is equipped with 4 (+3*) LINE inputs, 4
PHONO (dedicated MM) inputs, and 2 (+1*) MIC inputs, for a
total of 10 inputs. In addition to 2 master output lines (one
supporting professional-grade XLR mode), a variety of other
independent outputs are also provided, including booth
monitor output, recording output, and two digital outputs.
SEND/RETURN jacks are also provided for the connection of
external effects units.
* These additional connectors can optionally be switched
from PHONO input to make up the total.

planatory drawings. However the method of connecting and
operating the unit is the same.

CARACTERISTIQUES
Mixage d'effets
Le changement parmi trois sortes de mixage d'effets (ECHO,
ZIP et ROLL) s'accomplit facilement en actionnant le levier
de fondu enchaîné ou en appuyant sur le communtateur de
sélection/démarrage d'effet.
Compteur BPM
Le compteur automatique BPM intégré visualise le tempo du
morceau de musique.
Indicateur de crête
L'indicateur de crête fourni est équipé de voyants LED à 11 bits
pour chaque canal.
Démarrage/arrêt par variateur
Le lecteur de CD peut être démarré ou arrêté en augmentant ou
diminuant simplement le niveau du fondu enchaîné ou du
variateur de canal. (Cette fonction ne peut être utilisée que si un
lecteur de CD Pioneer de la série CMX-3000, CMX-5000, CDJ-
1000, CDJ-100S, CDJ-500S ou CDJ-500 II est raccordé.)
Egaliseur 3 bandes et arrêt manuel
Cet égaliseur correspond aux canaux HI, MID et LOW. Le
niveau d'atténuation sert aussi d'arrêt manuel, ce qui permet de
diminuer le niveau jusqu'à 26 dB.
Nombreux effets
Des effets internes et externes peuvent être appliqués à tous
les canaux, au microphone et à la sortie principale.
Vous pouvez obtenir des effets très divers: retard, écho, balance
automatique, coupure automatique, filtre, oscillation,
réverbération et changement de hauteur de son.
Gamme complète de fonctions d'entrée et de
sortie
Cette table de mixage DJ est dotée de 4 (+3*) entrées LINE, de
4 entrées PHONO (dédiées MM) et de 2 (+1*) entrées MIC, soit
un total de 10 entrées. En plus des 2 lignes de sortie principales
(l'une supportant le mode XLR de niveau professionnel),
d'autres sorties indépendantes sont également prévues,
notamment une sortie de moniteur de cabine, une sortie
d'enregistrement et deux sorties numériques. Des bornes
SEND/RETURN permettent aussi le branchement d'unités
d'effets externes.
* Ces bornes supplémentaires peuvent être validées depuis
l'entrée PHONO pour obtenir le total indiqué.
